I like trying different things to make sauces out of, most never make it past my experiment. Over the years I have made somethings that I still make. Christmas breakfast has been my focus for the last couple of months and I needed a sort of spread to use with what I am making. It took me most of the morning to make something I know is going to work perfectly. Next challenge will be the red and green that everything I have made for Christmas breakfast has to have.
This spread can be used for a number of different applications and what I created it for will be evident when I post our Christmas breakfast.
1/2 cup mayonnaise
5 teaspoons horseradish
1/2 teaspoons pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 and 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon mustard powder
pinch of cayenne pepper
Mix everything together in a bowl and refrigerate for at least a day before using.
