Shrimp And Not Chips, French Fries

I am Canadian and chips come in bags either plain or flavoured. I have always found it interesting how somehow french fries became chips in England. Honestly I find myself calling them chips when I make battered fish. I guess I could say my supper tonight was shrimp and chips but I actually prefer fries to chips. This is my simplest way of cooking shrimp, lots of butter, lots of garlic, salt and pepper, and a splash of lemon juice at the end.

Preheat a frying pan with the butter on medium high heat, when the butter starts to brown add the shrimp, garlic, and salt and pepper. Cook for about 2 minutes and then turn the shrimp over. Cook for about another 2 minutes and then add a tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix for about 10 seconds and serve.

Since my wife doesn’t like shrimp she had chicken legs with the thighs attached and fries. It just chicken so no recipe needed.
