Oven Side Ribs

This morning was our weekly shopping trip, thankfully we went early enough so no standing in line. We didn’t need to many things since we still have lots in the freezer. Did get some chicken to please my wife and frozen cod which was nice to find. My wife noticed side ribs at a great price so they went in the cart for supper tonight. Last time I did them in the slow cooker but since we didn’t get home till 12:30 no slow cooker time. Back ribs I always do them in the oven so the side ribs got the same treatment. This is an simple way to do either and the result is great. Best part is once they are in the oven you get to relax. There really isn’t a recipe for doing them this way, it’s more of a procedure. Salt and pepper the ribs and sprinkle with garlic powder on both sides. Place them on a cookie sheet that covered with foil. Add 1 tablespoon liquid smoke and cover tightly with foil. Cook in a 325 oven for 2 hours them remove from the oven. Place the top foil on another cookie sheet and coat the ribs with as much bbq sauce as you like. Return uncovered to a 350 oven for 1/2 hour. Ribs, salad, and rice and we had a great supper.
