The Unexpected Side Affect Of A Haircut

Well the white helmet is finally gone, thankfully. The haircut was to say the least different. Everyone wearing a mask, waiting for the chair to be sanitized, very different from my last haircut. Asking the questions again that they asked when I made the appointment, sanitizing my hands the minute I walked in. All these things were different and kind of surreal but at this time very necessary. It was nice to see my barber there and healthy. It felt very weird sitting looking at myself in the mirror in a mask. I was not expecting how great it made me feel when after 4 months and 11 days the white helmet started to hit the floor. Walking out after my haircut with for the first time in to long, things felt normal. It felt like a giant weight had been lifted and our world was becoming normal again. Strange that such a simple thing like getting a haircut is what gives you the feeling that things are normal. I truly did not expect that my haircut what make me feel as good as it does. Hopefully I’ll never see the white helmet again.

I just clippered my husband’s hair! His barber is still not open and he was getting desperate! It turned out ok.
