If you cook there are two compliments the people you’re cooking for can give you. As a cook it is what you hope for every time you start to make a meal. When you’re told you have to make this again you know you made the people you’re cooking for happy. The greatest compliment is one simple word, delicious. That’s when you know it wasn’t just good, it was something special. After we finished eating supper last night my wife said “that was delicious “. It’s her I cooked it for, that simple statement showed me I had done something good for her.

Your wife must be a little more reserved than some of my family who will make little moany and sometimes grunty noises (I swear it’s true…I don’t think they realize they do it) when something is really good! 🙂
Reserved is one way to put it. Heat a lot of that was good, but learned that when I hear delicious I had better make it again.
