Fancy Grilled Cheese

Looked in the fridge yesterday for something for lunch. It’s got lots of leftovers so there were lots of possibilities. I noticed the Camembert and smoked Gouda so grilled cheese seemed like a good idea. There was also some leftover ham. So my choice was a Gouda, ham, and Camembert grilled sandwich. Any grilled cheese sandwich is good and simple to make this one is no exception. A slice of bread with grainy mustard, thinly sliced Gouda, then a slice of ham topped with slices of Camembert, then the other slice of bread. Simple to make and simple to cook, butter in a frying pan, brown one side, flip it over and brown the other side. Cheese melts and you have a ham and cheese grilled sandwich. Just about any cheese works. In this case the Camembert, ham, and Gouda was away better match than I had even thought it would be. It was the best grilled cheese sandwich I have had. Wish I had taken a picture of it, it was just a grilled cheese so I didn’t. Mixed some cranberry sauce and ketchup together to dip it in. If you get a chance make this it’s a great grilled cheese.
