Here I am putting another chicken dish on my blog. Can’t wait for the snow to be gone and I can bbq a steak. When I bbq my wife can have her chicken and I can have a steak if I want.
So 1 dish meal, less dishes to clean. In this case it’s chicken legs with thighs attached. To give them some flavour there are herbs involved. Potatoes and carrots added to the pan makes it a complete meal.
4 chicken legs with thighs skin on
4 potatoes halved
4 carrots cut in large pieces
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
about 2 tablespoons olive oil
salt and pepper to taste ( you need lots of salt and pepper)
In a large baking dish place chicken legs, salt and pepper both sides heavily. Place skin side up and sprinkle each with 1/4 of the garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Add potatoes and carrots to dish, coat with some of the olive oil and sprinkle the rest over the chicken. Salt and pepper the potatoes and carrots and stir. Place in a preheated 350 oven and cook for 1 and 1/2 hours.
